Our Individual health insurance operates under the “Affordable Care Act.” This law provides consumers with subsidies, also known as premium tax credits. These credits lower the health care premiums for incomes between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level. Even if you do not fall within that threshold, you can still purchase a plan on the federal marketplace without subsidies.
Medicare is offered for those age 65 and older or if you are disabled at a younger generation.
